On April 26, the Federation of Trade Unions of Qiaoxi District, Zhangjiakou City, held the seventh plenary meeting of the Ninth Committee and the work conference on the construction of party style and clean government. More than 80 people attended the meeting, including Li Shui, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress and chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, members of the Ninth Committee of the District Federation of Trade Unions, chairmen and executive vice chairmen of the town and street federations of trade unions and directly affiliated trade unions, and some commended advanced collectives and individuals.
The conference deliberated and approved the work report of the Ninth Standing Committee of the District Federation of Trade Unions and the report on the examination of funds of the Ninth Economic Examination Committee of the District Federation of Trade Unions.
The meeting pointed out that since last year, trade unions at all levels in the region have adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, forged ahead, had the courage to act, and successfully completed various goals and tasks. In 2024, trade unions at all levels should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the decision-making and deployment of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and the District Committee, and resolutely implement the goals and requirements put forward by the Second Plenary Committee of the 14th Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the Third Plenary Committee of the 25th Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, so as to "strive for first-class and be a champion" The determination and vigor of the work to grasp the work in a comprehensive way, to achieve an overall increase in the contribution of the trade union work in the overall situation of the whole region, to comprehensively improve the satisfaction of the trade union work among the masses of workers, to comprehensively enhance the recognition of the trade union work in the whole society, and to make new contributions to the economic and social development of the whole region.
The conference also commended a total of 13 "2023 winning trade unions" including 4 town and street trade unions including the Mingde South Street Street Federation of Trade Unions, 6 trade unions of organs and institutions such as the trade unions of the Education, Sports and Science and Technology Bureau, and 3 enterprise trade unions including the trade unions of Times Rubber Products Co., Ltd., and commended 59 "2023 outstanding trade union workers" such as Zhang Weifeng.
The conference called on trade union organizations and trade union cadres at all levels in the region to take the advanced as an example, unite and mobilize the majority of workers to pioneer and innovate, keep pace with the times, work hard, work hard, and write the glory and dream of workers in the new era with struggle.
