The reporter learned from CNOOC that Asia's first cylindrical floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO) "Anemone No. 1" independently designed and built by the mainland was completed and delivered in Qingdao, Shandong Province on the 26th, marking a major breakthrough in the key technology of the independent design and construction of deepwater oil and gas equipment in the mainland, and is of great significance to promoting the economic and efficient development of deepwater oil and gas fields in the mainland.
"Haikui-1" is known as the "super energy bowl", with a maximum displacement of 100,000 tons and a maximum oil storage capacity of 60,000 tons, and can run continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to the dock.
After delivery, Haikui-1 will be towed to the deep-sea with a depth of 324 meters for return, and will be in service with the first deepwater jacket platform in Asia, Haiji-2, in the mainland's first deepwater oilfield, the Liuhua 11-1 oilfield.
