After Griffin entered the transfer market, the University of Kansas quickly became Griffin's first choice, making a home visit and welcoming him on campus last week. Griffin thinks he's a good fit here, and the team needs projection, and he can help them with that, and he can help them defend from the perimeter and continue the winning culture that Kansas has always had.

Griffin is the fourth transfer student to be added to the University of Kansas this offseason, following Zike Mayo (South Dakota State), Riley Coogel (University of Florida) and AJ Stoll (University of Wisconsin) as the team strengthens its outside shooting.

The University of Kansas also welcomed back starters Dajuan Harris Jr and KJ Adams, while All-American center Hunter Dickinson has yet to decide whether he will stay at the school, and if Dickinson returns to Lawrence, the University of Kansas will be the No. 1 favorite for the 2024-25 season.
