"The Treasure of Youyouqiong - Special Exhibition of Jade Objects from the Collection of Baoji Bronze Museum"

Exhibition introduction: 123 pieces/sets of jade unearthed from important archaeological discoveries such as the Western Zhou Archfish ("bowfish" is a word, pronounced yú) in the Baoji area, the Yimen No. 2 Spring and Autumn Tomb, etc., are exhibited, which is the first large-scale exhibition of jade from the collection of the Baoji Bronze Museum in the Lingnan region. The exhibition takes the ancient jade craft as the starting point, and tells the story of "jade" through three parts: "Puyu Pure Gold", "Jade-made Ware" and "Beautiful Jade", showing the artistic value and cultural connotation of Chinese jade.
On May 1st and 4th, the palace exhibition area will carry out free regular explanations of special exhibitions.

Exhibition introduction: There are about 190 pieces (sets) of exhibits, mainly cultural relics unearthed from archaeological surveys and excavations from 2021 to 2022, as well as specimens collected in the early years, archaeological excavation tools, relevant policy documents, cultural and creative products, etc. The exhibition is divided into four sections: "Re-Understanding: The Kilns of the South China Sea", "Connection: The Sauce Glaze Wine Pier of the 'Sannan' Site", "Tracing the Origin: The 'Symbols of the South China Sea' from the Perspective of the Maritime Silk Road", and "Inheritance: The Protection and Revitalization of the South China Sea Kilns".
The exhibition reconstructs the connection between the "Nanhai I", the ruins of the Nanyue National Palace Administration, and the Nanhai kiln - the "Three Souths", and attempts to re-examine the historical value of the Nanhai kiln as an important part of the world trade network from a global perspective.

The selected works include novels, essays, essays and poems, etc., and the precipitation and selection of these works of Lu Xun for half a century prove that these works of Lu Xun are well-deserved modern classics and one of the models of modern Chinese. The wisdom, thoughts, personalities, and spirits that flow between the lines of these works have nourished generations of young people, and the Baicao Garden, Sanwei Study, Lu Zhen, Mr. Fujino, Ah Q, and Xianglin's sister-in-law have also become typical environments and characters, engraved in our first memories of our encounter with Lu Xun.

Porcelain Sculpture Heart Speech - Chinese Ceramic Art Master Wu Weichao Porcelain Sculpture Exhibition

Exhibition introduction: Shiwan pottery and sculpture skills and Chaozhou's Fengxi porcelain firing skills are both on the list of representative items of national intangible cultural heritage, and both have their own distinctive artistic characteristics.
Wu Weichao, a master of Chinese ceramic art, is an outstanding representative of the Chaozhou arts and crafts industry. He inherited the Fengxi authentic porcelain sculpture technique at the same time, devoted himself to exploring the innovative use of traditional crafts, breaking through the creative procedures of traditional themes, especially the hand-pinched plastic combined with the color decoration as his personal characteristics, he absorbed the folk clay sculpture technology, and made good use of paste, plastic, carving, drawing and other techniques to shape the figures; he absorbed the essence of folk blue and white art, integrated into the creation of porcelain sculpture, boldly combined underglaze blue and white and overglaze painting, the brush and ink are naturally colored, and the color is appropriate.
The exhibition exhibits 63 pieces (sets) of porcelain sculpture works and 15 Chinese painting works.
