Recently, the new version of "Massacre on the Nile" announced that it will postpone the schedule from September 17, 2021 to February 11, 2022, and it is reported that this schedule adjustment may be related to Amy Hammer's investigation into sexual assault allegations by the Los Angeles Police Department. If found guilty, Amy Hammer could go to jail for 8 years.

The new release date gives Disney nearly a year to rethink the way the film's promotional campaign is conducted. It is reported that Disney has no intention of spending money on "Massacre on the Nile".
