EAC Declaration of Conformity (also known as CU-TR Declaration of Conformity) - Declaration of Conformity of the Manufacturer or Importer on the Safety of the Product. The applicant company independently collects data, conducts tests and registers information on the national registration system. The reliability of the information is the responsibility of the manufacturer or the applicant.

EAC Certificate of Conformity (also known as CU-TR Certificate of Conformity) – verification of compliance with regulations by an accredited body. The certification procedure is similar to the EAC Declaration of Conformity, but all work is done by a third-party agency - checking the quality of goods, organizing laboratory tests and confirming safety. The certification body is responsible for the accuracy of the information.

The State Registration Certificate (SGR) is the most complex and time-consuming procedure. It is suitable for products that may cause harm to human health or life. Suitable for food, pharmaceuticals and hygiene products.

For example, the EAC Declaration of Conformity is sufficient for packaging – Decision No. 769 of the Commission of the Customs Union dated 16.08.2011, page 2, clause 7. In the case of special foodstuffs, it is only necessary to carry out a State Registration Certificate (SGR) - as provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 24 of Decision No. 880 of the Commission of the Customs Union of December 9, 2011.

The EAC Declaration of Conformity is the most common and easiest way to confirm compliance with the standards of the Technical Regulations.
