WASHINGTON, April 26, 2024 – Over the past two years, two Boeing 737 Max 8 airliners have crashed back-to-back in less than half a year, killing 346 people. Now, the families of the victims of the tragedy are once again on the cusp, urging the U.S. Department of Justice to file a criminal case against Boeing as soon as possible.
In Washington, D.C., April 24, families of the victims gathered for a face-to-face meeting with officials from the U.S. Department of Justice. With a heavy heart, but even more with determination, they demanded that the Justice Department thoroughly investigate Boeing's responsibility.
In October 2018 and March 2019, two crashes of Boeing 737 Max 8 airliners shocked the world. In just a few months, hundreds of families have suffered irreparable damage as a result of the crash.
