Turn off BitLocker encryption through the control panel
1. Click "Computer" and then open "Control Panel". In your computer's settings, you'll need to select "System & Security".
2. Select BitLocker Drive Encryption to manage BitLocker. In the BitLocker Drive Encryption screen, click "Turn off BitLocker" and reconfirm your options. This way, your drive is no longer password protected by BitLocker.
Disable BitLocker encryption using the BitLocker Manager
Before accessing the BitLocker manager, you should unlock the BitLocker-encrypted drive with a password or recovery key.
