Previously, according to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 18:09 Beijing time on April 25, 2024, the departure ceremony of the crew of the Shenzhou-18 manned mission was held at the Wentian Pavilion Dream Garden Square of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

At 18:10, Xu Xueqiang, commander-in-chief of China's manned space project and commander-in-chief of the mission headquarters of the space station application and development stage, issued a "departure" order, and three astronauts, Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu, were ordered to set off.
