In order to comprehensively promote garbage classification, recently, the Zhongshan Road Sub-district Office and Dexian Road Primary School carried out a vivid and interesting garbage classification publicity and education activity in the Shinan District Garbage Classification Publicity and Education Center, with a total of more than 40 primary school students participating.
Before the start of the event, the staff of the Zhongshan Road Sub-district Office distributed publicity materials such as "A Letter to the Residents of Shinan District" to primary school students to help them better understand the importance of garbage sorting and how to classify it. Subsequently, under the leadership of the commentator, we visited the garbage classification education center to understand what is garbage classification, the four classification methods of domestic waste, the collection and transportation process of garbage, and how to turn domestic garbage into treasure. By watching the garbage classification propaganda video, the children more intuitively feel the importance of garbage classification, strengthen the awareness of improving garbage classification, they have said that they will develop a good habit of garbage classification in the future, actively participate in the action of garbage classification, in school, home will continue to promote the common sense of garbage classification, call on everyone to protect the environment, protect nature. Then, the students couldn't wait to come to the garbage classification interactive area, and deepened and consolidated the knowledge of garbage classification through interesting interactive games such as classification knowledge competition, quick eyes and feet, and garbage in place, and felt the significance of garbage classification and environmental protection in the immersive experience.
This activity not only allowed the primary school students to understand the basic knowledge and methods of garbage classification, but more importantly, guided the majority of families to actively participate in garbage classification and promote the work of garbage classification through the way of "small hands holding big hands".
