The reporter learned that Yuyuantan Park combined with the construction planning of the scenic spot, began to introduce multi-flowered wisteria in the spring of 2018, and currently has more than 200 plants of 15 varieties, which are distributed in the northwest of the park, the northeast of the Landscape Scenic Area, the southeast Yuyuan Spring and Autumn Scenic Area and the southwest of the Yingluo Flower Valley Scenic Area, which has formed a relatively concentrated corridor landscape and local tree-like planting. Wisteria multiflora wins with its advantages of long flower spikes, large flower abundance, and many flower colors. The overall spike length can reach 60-100 cm.
In the Poetic Flower Culture Square, the reporter saw citizens and tourists stopping under the wisteria tree, or taking pictures, or watching carefully, enjoying the beautiful time of spring. "It's so dreamy, like a waterfall, with the surrounding landscape as the background, it's quite a film!" said Liu, a college student who came to check in and take pictures with his good friends, to reporters. The blooming of wisteria flowers not only provides a good place for citizens and tourists to enjoy the flowers, but also adds a touch of romantic and poetic color to the park.
