Before the meeting, Xiao Diming, chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, gave a lecture to the participants on the topic of "Learning and Implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law and Further Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Local Legislation".
The meeting listened to and deliberated the report of the Municipal People's Government on the 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth Municipal People's Congress on the mid-term report on the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the National Economic and Social Development of Zhangjiajie City, and the report on the 16th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress on the law enforcement inspection team of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress to inspect the implementation of the "Zhangjiajie City Tourism Market Order Management Regulations". Report on the deliberation opinions, research and handling of the report of the 14th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth Municipal People's Congress on the work of creating a national demonstration city for ethnic unity and progress.
The meeting listened to the report of the Municipal People's Government on the construction of the rule of law government in 2023 and the report of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court on the appearance of the responsible persons of the city's administrative organs in court to respond to the lawsuit in 2023. Listened to the report of the Municipal People's Government on the implementation of the rectification of the 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth Municipal People's Congress on the implementation of the rectification of the law enforcement inspection and assignment of the "one law and one method" for road traffic safety of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and the report of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court on the 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth Municipal People's Congress on the implementation of the rectification of the problems assigned by the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress on the evaluation and supervision of judges' performance of duties in 2023.
