On the evening of April 23, the color drama "Which Ho Ho Ho Hi" brought by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Drama Theater was staged at the Guangxi National Theater.
"Which ho-" accompanied by a reverberating sound, suona sounds, gongs intertwined, mixed with a few cannon sounds, the whole performance kicked off. The audience was led to "travel" to the era of warlord melee, and "witnessed" the turbulent life of the tune artists during the war, as well as their national righteousness in the face of the enemy.
The color drama "Which Ho Babble" tells the story of how on the eve of the Northern Expedition, a group of singing artists from Guilin's "Feicai Class" were forced to leave their hometown to join the army and embark on the road of military service. After a fierce battle, more than half of the "Feicai class" were killed and wounded, and the survivors shouted "Na ho ho ho ho" to pay tribute to the dead. During the march, Li Asan, Brother Gu and others encountered a group of Hunan army stragglers and learned that Gu's sister-in-law had died in her hometown. After a firefight, Li Asan wanted to run away and go home to marry Gui Gu, but was arrested and tortured to the point of being disabled. In front of a certain theater, Li Ah was humiliated in every way, and being able to sing tunes with Gui Gu became his only spiritual pillar to live. The ardent desire for home and tone has accompanied these suffering men of the "Feicai Class" through more than 20 years of hard journey. In the face of machine guns and death, they sang joyfully and fearlessly, and their immortal souls flew to the woman who was waiting for them to return home.
"The costumes, movements, and performances of the actors are wonderful, and I can be fully engaged and deeply moved in every scene. Citizen Xie Qunzhen said. "I've loved watching color dramas since I was a child, and I saw a clip of this drama on the Internet before, and I was deeply moved, so I asked a friend to come to the scene to watch it. Citizen Guo Youmei said.
"Color drama is a long-standing and local style of drama, in the transition between the actors' smiles, spring, summer, autumn and winter pass quietly, love and hatred are contained in it. Watching a play is like reading a book to me, and I deliberately chose to spend it this way on World Book Day. Li Guang, a citizen who came to watch the play, told reporters.
Through the poignant story of the tune's pursuit of peace and love and the struggle for freedom, this play artistically reproduces the tune's sigh for life and the cry of the soul, and it is also a tribute to the dramatists who contributed to China's new drama during the Southwest Opera Festival. The heroine Gui Gu played by Li Xinyan said.
This drama is another classic in the history of color drama performance after "Liu Sanjie", the life of the actor Li Asan in the play is very exciting, his longing for his hometown, the love that he can't get, the tangled emotions between brothers and the pursuit of life, make this role rich and three-dimensional. Wang Shuo, the actor of Li Asan, said that he hoped that through his own efforts, the audience would remember the classic singing and fragments in the play, and become more interested in color dramas.
The reporter learned that the color drama "Na Ho Ho Ho Hi" has shined at the 4th China Theatre Festival, winning 9 awards including the Outstanding Playwright Award, and has won more than 20 awards such as the 6th Wenhua New Repertoire Award and the China Cao Yu Literature Award, becoming one of the most award-winning plays in Guangxi after 1949.
