Jiuquan, China, April 25 (Reporter Yang Jia) According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 18:09 Beijing time on April 25, 2024, the astronaut crew departure ceremony of the Shenzhou 18 manned mission was held at the Wentian Pavilion Yuanmengyuan Square of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. At 18:10, Xu Xueqiang, commander-in-chief of China's manned space project and commander-in-chief of the mission headquarters of the space station application and development stage, issued a "departure" order, and three astronauts, Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu, were ordered to set off.
At present, the Shenzhou-17 astronaut crew has been stationed in the space station for nearly six months and is actively preparing for the upcoming Shenzhou-18 astronaut crew.
