In order to further implement the "seven grasps" proposed by the school, improve the enthusiasm and effectiveness of students in learning English, test students' mastery of words and sentence patterns, guide students to correctly recognize English words, consolidate basic knowledge of English, and enhance students' sense of competition in learning, Tianliao Primary School held a special English dictation competition from the third to sixth grades on April 23.
Before the competition, the leaders of the preparation team of grades 3 to 6 of the English group will discuss the current level and specific situation of the students in their grades, and the English teachers of each grade will write the content of the competition and carefully prepare the competition questions. In the early stage of the competition, the teacher organized the students to complete the daily dictation tasks, and the students actively memorized English words and sentences. During the competition, the students were full of confidence, answered the questions in good faith, the handwriting was smooth and upright, the volume was neat and beautiful, and they were carefully checked after completing the answers, and the atmosphere was tense and orderly.
The purpose of this English special dictation competition is to urge students to master the English words taught in the classroom through a benign competition, so as to lay a solid foundation for learning English well. In the future, we will continue to carry out this activity to increase students' interest in learning and promote the gradual improvement of the quality of English teaching.
