Wang Shanping, male, born in March 1966, Han nationality, native of Dazhu, Sichuan, graduated from the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee, started working in April 1984, and joined the Communist Party of China in April 1985.
From April 1984 to November 1988, he successively worked in Shihe Township and Qinghe District of Dazhu County;
From November 1988 to June 1996, he successively served as the head and secretary of the Party Committee of Baixiang Township, Dazhu County, and the deputy secretary and secretary of the Qinghe District Party Committee;
From June 1996 to November 2002, he successively served as the deputy county magistrate, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee, deputy county magistrate, executive deputy county magistrate, and deputy secretary of the Xuanhan County Party Committee.
From November 2002 to November 2015, he successively served as deputy secretary of the Wanyuan Municipal Party Committee, acting mayor and mayor, secretary of the Kaijiang County Party Committee, director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, and secretary of the Quxian County Party Committee.
From November 2015 to April 2022, he successively served as Deputy Mayor of Dazhou City, Secretary of the Quxian County Party Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Poverty Alleviation and Development (Immigration) Bureau, Member of the Standing Committee of the Bazhong Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Deputy Mayor of the Municipal People's Government, Deputy Secretary of the Bazhong Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Nanchong Municipal Party Committee, and Deputy Secretary of the Ziyang Municipal Party Committee;
Since April 2022, he has served as Deputy Secretary of the Ziyang Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal People's Government, and Mayor.
