Trisomy is the earliest chromosomal disease to be discovered so far, and it is also the most common and medically recognized chromosomal disease, also known as Down syndrome. Its incidence accounts for 1/600 to 1/800 in live infants. The relationship between maternal age and Down syndrome has been established, and the older a woman (>35 years old), the more likely she is to give birth to a child with a chromosomal abnormality such as congenital stupidity (trisomy 21).
Female germ cells are produced in the fetal period, and with the increase of female age, the residence time of germ cells in the body increases, and the exposure to physical, chemical, and biological harmful factors accumulates, and the probability of chromosome non-disjunction also increases, and the risk of chromosomal trisomy after fertilization also increases. Infertile women of advanced age are not only the main indications for prenatal diagnosis, but also one of the indications for preconception diagnosis. However, because such patients often require controlled ovulation induction with drugs, fewer effective oocytes are usually obtained, so the efficiency of preconception diagnosis is often low.

To put it simply, hair loss is definitely related to genetics! However, hair loss is a complex polygenic trait that is determined by the combination and interaction of multiple genes, and in addition to genetic factors, environmental and lifestyle factors also play an important role in hair loss. With the increase of age, staying up late, working overtime, unhealthy diet, etc., etc., etc., may be the culprit of hair loss, so it is unscientific to rely solely on genetic diagnosis to solve the problem of offspring!
