According to the latest report released by IDC, an international data company, Honor Huawei tied for the first place in China's smartphone market in the first quarter.

Overall, China's smartphone market shipped about 69.26 million units in the first quarter of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%.

In terms of specific rankings, Honor ranked first in China's market share of 17.1% in the first quarter, with a year-on-year increase of 13.2%, and the hot sales of Magic 6 series and folding screen products made Honor's shipments in the high-end market above 600 US dollars (about 4348 yuan) increased by 123.3% year-on-year.

Huawei has recovered rapidly since its return at the end of August last year, and has tied for the first place in the Chinese market in the first quarter of this year, with a year-on-year growth rate of 110%.

Honor and Huawei have experienced a relatively bleak market situation in the past two years, but fortunately, after a series of efforts, both have returned and won the tie for the first place, which is indeed gratifying.
