According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, after the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft entered orbit, it successfully docked with the radial port of the Tianhe core module of the space station at 3:32 on April 26, 2024, Beijing time, and the entire autonomous rendezvous and docking process lasted about 6.5 hours.
According to the mission plan, the three astronauts will then enter the Tianhe core module of the space station from the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft. The Shenzhou-17 astronaut crew has made all preparations to welcome the Shenzhou-18 astronaut crew into the station, and the two "flying combinations" with an average age of less than 40 years old will soon meet at the "Tiangong."
