At the press conference, SemiDrive first launched the "1+N" central computing + regional control architecture. One central computing platform CCU provides centralized computing power support for automotive intelligence, and N flexible and configurable regional controllers ZCU are used to adapt to the needs of different models.

Under the "1+N" architecture, SemiDrive officially released the pioneer-level central computing processor X9CC. X9CC is a multi-core heterogeneous computing platform designed for central computing, with a computing power of up to 200KDMIPS, integrating a variety of high-performance computing cores in a single chip, including 24 Cortex-A55 CPUs, 12 Cortex-R5F CPUs, 2 NPUs, 4 GPUs, 4 Vision DSPs, and a Crypto engine that supports national cryptography algorithms.

SemiDrive's unique UniLink Framework provides high-bandwidth, low-latency data exchange between multiple systems, as well as a standard and easy-to-use programming interface, which greatly reduces the difficulty of multi-system integration and development. The X9CC can support up to six independent systems on a single chip, including entertainment and navigation, LCD instruments, central gateways, intelligent driving, intelligent vehicle control, and information security. According to the software deployment, X9CC can support the flexible configuration of each computing core in different systems, and reasonably allocate computing resources.

At the same time, to meet the diversified configuration requirements of the zone controller (ZCU) under the new generation EE architecture, SemiDrive has also launched a new generation of ZCU product family, covering I/O-rich, control fusion and computing-intensive zone controllers, respectively for core application scenarios such as body control, body + chassis + power cross-domain fusion, and super power domain control.

This zone controller product family includes E3119/3118, E3650 and other SemiDrive E3 series products in the pipeline.

At the press conference, SemiDrive focused on ZCU's flagship product, E3650. The E3650 uses the latest ARM Cortex R52+ high-performance lockstep multi-core cluster, supports virtualization, nonvolatile memory (NVM) up to 16MB, has large-capacity SRAM, and more abundant available peripheral resources, solves the pain points encountered in the current vehicle electrical architecture design, and supports the implementation of vehicle electronic and electrical architecture with higher integration and wider configuration.

On the E3650, SemiDrive has upgraded the fully self-developed SSDPE (Super Speed Data Packet Engine) hardware communication acceleration engine, which can achieve zero data packet loss when all CAN FDs work at the same time, effectively reducing the CPU load and improving the communication throughput.

In response to the growing demand for information security, the E3650 also integrates the Xuanwu Super Security HSM information security module, which meets the information security level of ISO 21434, Evita Full and above, and better supports the models to go overseas.

With the X9 cabin core series products, SemiDrive comprehensively covers the cockpit processor needs of various eras, including entry-level to flagship-level cockpit application scenarios such as instrumentation, IVI, cockpit domain control, and cabin parking integration, and is actively leading the product development of AI cockpit.

Released in 2023, the X9SP is the first generation of SemiDrive's AI cockpit, with 8TOPS NPU computing power, realizing the local deployment and acceleration of AI algorithms. At present, the X9SP can support multi-modal perception in the car and cloud large model interaction, and the AI cockpit based on SemiDrive X9SP was demonstrated at the press conference, and intelligent functions such as user emotion recognition, gesture interaction, intelligent navigation, active recommendation, and automatic generation of call summaries can be smoothly realized.

The new generation of X9CC has a higher-performance NPU unit, which can realize the hybrid deployment of large models local + cloud. In the future, SemiDrive will further launch the AI cockpit processor X10, which will more efficiently support the Transformer architecture and the pure end-side deployment of large models, bringing users a safer, more efficient, and more personalized AI cockpit experience.

Up to now, the shipment of X9 series cockpit processors has exceeded 3 million pieces, and the models equipped with X9 series chips under Chery, SAIC, Changan, GAC, BAIC, Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Honda and other car companies have been mass-produced.
