These families generally have insufficient capacity and poor communication in infant and child care, emotional management, and division of labor and cooperation among family members. These problems are not only present in the community, but also reflect to some extent the common challenges faced by the megacity of Chengdu.

Zhongcheng social workers have actively explored and established a "123456" service model for newborn families in commercial and residential communities, providing strong support for newborn families in the transition stage of 0-2 years, alleviating the pressure of life adaptation, assisting in mediating family conflicts, promoting the normal play of family functions, and creating a harmonious family environment for the healthy growth of newborns.

Under the guidance of the "Family Life Cycle Theory", Zhongcheng social workers deeply analyzed the four stage characteristics of newborn family development, and actively used the combination of online and offline to carefully build a linkage mechanism of "community + property + party branch + volunteers + pre-project service objects + WeChat group". Through systematic home visits, random surveys, online recruitment, community recommendations and other channels, we have an in-depth understanding of the problems and needs faced by different family members, conduct detailed analysis and classification, form a professional and systematic service relationship, and formulate a clear intervention strategy.

In the process of unremitting exploration and practice, Zhongcheng social workers have successfully established a newborn family service station in a commercial and residential community, providing a variety of service activities for newborn families, such as parenting knowledge and skill exchange, family relationship status sharing, emotional counseling, early infant and toddler socialization, and female workplace development, creating a respectful and friendly support environment for community residents. By focusing on the two main subjects of postpartum mothers and neonatal families, and starting from multiple dimensions such as individuals, families, homogeneous groups and community environments, the mutual support network for the development of neonatal families was reconstructed. At the same time, focusing on the three core service themes of "marriage, parenting, and family development", it helps family members better adapt to role changes, improve cognition, and enhance trust, so as to effectively prevent the difficulties that newborn families may face. Four professional support centers have been established, namely "Postpartum Emotional Support Center", "Family Parenting Learning Center", "Postpartum Family Exchange Center" and "Newborn Family Service Publicity Center", which have strengthened the homogeneous interaction between newborn families, improved the five major abilities of interpersonal communication, scientific parenting, family communication, emotional regulation and self-development, and formed innovative recruitment methods, in-depth and accurate questions, shared emotional support, enhanced family participation, and cultivated mutual aid teams. Advocate the 6-step work method of social concern, create an informal support network mutual aid and support system, and provide a platform for community residents to realize their self-worth and conduct multi-dimensional interaction.
Newborn experience activities to build a family communication and support platform
After three consecutive years of careful implementation, the large-scale community newborn family coordinated development service project has achieved remarkable results.
