Three major exchanges, the latest market closure notice!

On the afternoon of April 25, the Shanghai and Shenzhen North Stock Exchanges issued a notice on the 2024 Labor Day market closure arrangement, the specific arrangements are as follows:

1. Closure arrangement

The market will be closed from May 1 (Wednesday) to May 5 (Sunday), and will be open as usual from May 6 (Monday). The market will be closed on Sunday, April 28 and Saturday, May 11.

2. Clearing and settlement

Clearing and settlement matters during holidays shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant arrangements of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation.

In addition, the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges also issued a notice on the trading day arrangements for Hong Kong Stock Connect during the Labor Day period, which are as follows:

1. Hong Kong Stock Connect services will not be provided from May 1 (Wednesday) to May 5 (Sunday), and Hong Kong Stock Connect services will be opened as usual from May 6 (Monday). The market will be closed on Sunday, April 28 and Saturday, May 11.

2. The clearing and settlement of Southbound transactions shall be carried out in accordance with the arrangements of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation.
