The ship's ship engineering and exterior were designed by the British yacht design firm Malcolm McKeon, and the "Noir" will have an all-aluminium hull and be equipped with the world's tallest mast at 93 meters (305 feet). Royal Haussmann's sister company, Rondal, will supply the mast, sail crossings and integrated sailing systems.

In keeping with its name, mysterious and deep, all deck equipment and windows will be black. "Noir" will have a reverse bow with a maximum waterline length and a flybridge with a large area of glass and a folding platform. To meet the needs of customers, the sailboat will also be equipped with a 14-metre annex for coastal exploration, transporting tourists and supplies, without the need to reposition the sailboat closer to the port.

Designer McKeon said: "We are delighted to be able to build such an outstanding sailing yacht at Royal Hausmann once again. We built the award-winning 60-metre 'Sarissa' there, and we are in awe of the shipyard's engineering skills, innovation and craftsmanship. ”

When completed, the sailboat will be among the largest sailing ships in the world and will be at the top of the list of the tallest dhows in the world, with a mast height of about 4 meters higher than the current tallest mast. In comparison, the record holder "M5" currently has the tallest mast of any dhow, up to 290 feet (88.5 meters).

Details of the interior have not yet been disclosed, but the design will be carried out by Spanish firm GCA Architects. The studio designed the first "smart" building in Spain and one of the first buildings in the world to achieve LEED Platinum certification. Designer Josep Juanpere Miret said the interior will complement the contemporary exterior styling with a mix of woods and other natural materials and textures, allowing people to enjoy the pleasure of sailing while feeling the warm embrace of nature.

According to Royal Hausman, the owner is an experienced and passionate sailor who loves the ocean and enjoys sharing this unique way of life with close friends and family. For him, speed, power and responsive handling are all priorities. In the future, he plans to sail the ship on a world cruise to explore the wider world of the sea.

Jan Timmerman, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Royal Hausman's capabilities can be seen in a variety of ways, and without a doubt, the most important evidence is that we have been chosen by knowledgeable owners to build their incredibly unique yachts. I am delighted and honoured to announce such an important project to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Royal Huisman. "Of the hundreds of ships delivered in the history of our shipyard, the 411 project will be the fourth of our rank among the top ten sailing ships in the world. We will continue to uphold our love and dedication to the nautical industry to create more outstanding sailing works for more owners. ”
