The Red Cross Society of Jiangxian County held its first member representative meeting
On April 19, the first member congress of Jiangxian Red Cross Society was successfully held. Yan Le, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice President of the Municipal Red Cross Society, Wei Wenjing, Deputy Director of the County People's Congress, Zhang Weihua, Deputy County Mayor of the County Government, and He Zhaoting, Vice Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference, attended the meeting. Jin Ruixia, deputy director of the county government office, presided over the meeting.
The meeting read out the instructions of Xie Fang, secretary of the county party committee, on the work of the Red Cross. Xie Fang emphasized that the county Red Cross Society should deeply practice the people-centered development thinking, consciously focus on the center and serve the overall situation, solidly promote the law-based operation, law-based governance, and law-based development, continuously deepen reform and innovation, serve the social masses, strengthen its own construction, and continue to enhance the influence, cohesion and appeal of the Red Cross. All units at all levels in the county should attach importance to and support the work of the Red Cross, and widely mobilize forces from all walks of life to jointly promote the high-quality development of the Red Cross cause.
Yan Le put forward four hopes and suggestions for further doing a good job in the Red Cross work in Jiangxian County: first, we must strengthen political construction and firmly grasp the correct political direction of the development of the Red Cross cause; second, we must focus on the overall situation of the center and take the initiative to serve the primary task of high-quality development; third, we must adhere to the supremacy of the people and consciously practice the people-centered development philosophy; fourth, we must strengthen self-construction and make every effort to build a loyal, clean and responsible cadre team.
Zhang Weihua emphasized three points on doing a good job in the future work of the Red Cross: first, improve the political position and effectively enhance the sense of responsibility and mission to do a good job in the Red Cross work; second, grasp the key points and make every effort to promote the high-quality development of the Red Cross cause; and third, strengthen organizational construction and unite the strong synergy of the development of the Red Cross cause.
The meeting deliberated and approved the draft resolution of the "2024-2028 Development Plan for the Red Cross Cause in Jiangxian County", and elected the first board of directors of the Jiangxian Red Cross Society composed of 52 people and the first board of supervisors composed of 6 people. The meeting elected Zhang Weihua as the chairman of the first council, Wang Hui as the full-time vice president, and Li Jianfeng, Chen Pengfei, Song Wenfeng, and Guo Sanhu as part-time vice presidents. Song Pengfei, Qin Xiaohua, Li Feng, Jing Guannan, Zhang Chunhong, and Song Yu were elected as supervisors of the board of supervisors, with Song Pengfei as the chairman of the board of supervisors and Qin Xiaohua as the deputy chairman of the board of supervisors.
