"This transplanting machine is not only simple to operate, but also fast and efficient to release tobacco seedlings, and the distance between each tobacco seedling is also well controlled, so it used to take many people a day to complete the work, but now it only takes two or three people to complete it in half a day," tobacco farmers who are using transplanting machines to sow tobacco seedlings told reporters.
With the investment of new technologies such as floating seedlings and dropper irrigation, as well as agricultural machinery such as rotary tillers, mulching machines, and transplanting machines, the tobacco production process in Malong District has gradually moved towards modernization, and the labor costs of tobacco farmers have been reduced, their profits have increased, and their lives have become sweeter.
