On the afternoon of April 25, the grid members of Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Foshan City gathered together to carry out a wonderful and fierce "big competition". This is the final of the 2024 "Grid Iron Army" Ecological Grid Vocational Skills Competition in Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, where 14 finalist teams compete in the same field, fighting for brainpower and hand speed, promoting learning, training and use by competition, improving the level of participation in intelligent social governance, and striving to build a "grid iron army" with strong business, high quality and for the people.

The purpose of this competition is to create a good atmosphere of "competing, learning, catching up and surpassing" in the jurisdiction through labor skills competition, build a platform for skilled talents to train skills, study technology, learn skills and display skills, further promote the overall skill quality improvement of ecological grid workers and the construction of skilled talent team, focus on cultivating high-quality skilled talents, and help the high-quality economic development of Nanzhuang Town.
In the early stage, a total of 81 full-time grid staff and PC operators in the town passed the system training to consolidate the foundation of the players, and after the training, 27 teams were formed based on the workstation to participate in the preliminary round, and 14 teams with a total of 42 people were screened out to enter the finals.
Different from the written test form of the preliminary competition, the final adopts the method of on-site answering competition, in the form of compulsory answers, picture answering questions and rush answers, focusing on the basic knowledge of ecological grid work, basic knowledge of the grid staff's profession, policies and regulations, grid staff work responsibilities, case disposal process, and village system operation, etc., from theoretical knowledge to work skills, comprehensively test the business skill level and comprehensive literacy of full-time grid staff and PC operators.
In the finals, each team competed in knowledge, skills, and speed, forming a strong atmosphere of striving to be the "Grid Iron Army". Through the competition, the enthusiasm of the ecological grid workers will be continuously enhanced, and the good spirit of the ecological grid workers will be fully demonstrated.
After fierce competition on the spot, in the end, Ditian Village won the first prize of the team, Nanzhuang Village and Nanzhuang Community won the second prize, and Shangyuan Village, Rongzhou Village, Hefeng Village, Zidong Village and Riverside Community won the third prize. Dongcun Village, Longjin Village, Xingqun Village, Hejiao Village, Xingtou Village, and Chanjing District Management Committee won the winning award.

"This competition fully demonstrates the strength of the Nanzhuang grid team. According to the person in charge of the Smart Social Governance Center of Nanzhuang Town, Nanzhuang anchored the goal of "strengthening the grid and building an iron army", formulated the three major plans of "Casting Sword-Expo-Zhanfeng", and gradually carried out a series of training courses through the combination of internal learning and out-of-home training, so as to promote the further professionalization and professional development of the ecological grid team. This competition is an important part of the "Sword Forging" program.
At present, Nanzhuang has established 27 smart social governance workstations, with a total of 54 full-time grid members.
