According to the arrangement of the special reading class for party discipline study and education for leading cadres at the district level, on April 24, our district held a special reading class for party discipline study and education for leading cadres at the district level and a study meeting of the theoretical study center group of the district party committee, focusing on the "General Provisions" part of the first part of the newly revised "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China". Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has put the construction of discipline in a more prominent position, incorporated it into the overall layout of party building in the new era, put forward a series of new ideas, new views and new assertions on strengthening the party's discipline construction under the new situation, led and promoted the whole party to strengthen the construction of discipline, manage the whole party with strict discipline, govern the whole party, and promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the party. After "ten years of sharpening a sword", the party's discipline and rules have been clearly established and strict, fundamentally reversed the situation of "loose and soft" party governance, and provided a strong disciplinary guarantee for the historic achievements and changes in the cause of the party and the country.
The Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China (CPC) are important basic regulations governing the Party. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee has revised the "Regulations" three times to keep pace with the times and improve discipline and norms, fully demonstrating the firm determination and strong will of our Party to promote self-revolution. The general provisions of the "Regulations" reflect the latest theoretical, practical and institutional achievements of comprehensively and strictly governing the party in the new era, and clarify the directional, general, principled and regular major issues of discipline construction and disciplinary punishment, which have an outline and leading role for the entire "Regulations".

The Third Plenary Session of the 20 th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection clearly demanded that the "two safeguards" be highlighted, political supervision should be deepened, and strict political discipline and political rules should be placed in a prominent position. In the new era and new journey, the most fundamental way to abide by the party's political discipline is to firmly support the "two establishments" and resolutely achieve the "two safeguards". As a compulsory textbook for Party organizations and Party members and cadres at all levels to know discipline and discipline and a code of conduct for abiding by discipline and discipline, the "Regulations" play a very important role in ensuring that the whole Party maintains a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core in terms of political position, political direction, political principles and political path.
