On April 25, the Chevrolet Explorer EV made its debut, the new car is based on General Motors' pure electric Autonen platform, providing single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive versions, all equipped with 8195 chips, and a range of 600km under working conditions. According to sales, the new model is expected to go on sale in June.
The Explorer EV is much larger than the petrol version of the Explorer, and has the same wheelbase as the Buick E4. Adopting the new design language of the Chevrolet brand, it offers a dual RS/STD exterior with concealed door handles/floating roof, illuminated light strips, and a lower, sportier rear profile.
The Explorer EV adopts a new generation of interior design, equipped with an 11+17-inch VCS giant screen, providing wireless Carplay/charging, 84-color ambient lighting, 3+7HUD real-time display, in-car fragrance, electric heating/ventilation memory seats, privacy glass, 220V in-car power supply, V2L external discharge, a new generation of Super cruise super driver assistance system and NFC/mobile phone key, etc.
The Explorer EV is built on GM's Autonom platform and is equipped with a 79.7 kW·h ternary lithium-ion battery pack. The maximum output of the front motor is 143 kW, and the maximum output of the rear motor is 68 kW.
