Li Minqing
Born in September 1967. Member of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party. He graduated from the School of Art of Qingdao University of Science and Technology in Shandong Province, Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts, and was later admitted to Jiangnan University to obtain a bachelor's degree in ceramic design. After 2000, he settled in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, and engaged in the carving and creative work of purple sand handicrafts. He is a disciple of Mr. Bao Zhiqiang, a master of Chinese arts and crafts.
Now he is a master of arts and crafts in Shandong Province, a national senior arts and crafts artist, a senior rural revitalization technician in Jiangsu Province, a national senior technician, a member of the Zisha Professional Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Association, a member of the Jiangsu Ceramic Industry Association, a distinguished professor of Wuxi Institute of Technology, a visiting professor of Qilu University of Technology, a visiting professor of Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation Vocational College, a member and deputy secretary-general of the Modern Engraving Art Committee of the Shandong Artists Association, and the vice president of Wuxi Taihu Ceramic Carving Art Research Institute. Director of Yixing Ceramic Society, director of Pottery Engraving Association of Yixing Ceramic Industry Association.
His works have won two national gold medals, twelve provincial gold medals and two silver awards, including the bronze medal in the 2021 Jiangsu Provincial Native Talent Skills Competition, and the silver medal in the 16th Jiangsu Zisha Handicraft Competition in 2021.
Qian Songzhe Art Museum is located in Anqian Road, Yangxiang Town, Yixing City, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, which is integrated with Yangxiang Culture and Sports Park, with a total construction area of 3136.65 square meters
Walking into the Qian Songzhe Art Museum, the white walls of Daiwa are full of ancient charm. Qian Songzhe Art Museum is a single small courtyard, divided into two floors, the first floor is the exhibition area of Qian Songzhe's artistic life and Yangxiang Humanities Museum, and the second floor is the exhibition area of Qian Songzhe's calligraphy and painting works, temporary exhibition area, and has training, exchange, reception and other functional areas. The whole art gallery is simple and atmospheric, quite Zen.
In the museum, there are precious documents such as pen, ink, paper, inkstone, correspondence and other precious documents used by Qian Songzhe during his lifetime, as well as more than 100 works authorized by his family to reproduce, as well as more than 200 pieces of calligraphy, painting and ceramics donated by Yang Xiang Xiangxian.
