〈 years old 〉 cold three friends proud snow frost,
The cicada does not call the bird frozen.
〈Know〉 Kindness repays the true gentleman,
The pine-shaped crane bone has an aura.
The festival of the boat is not advisable,
〈Suffering〉 to the sky is not prepared.
"Difficult" brother and brother feel the same way,
Death does not save the unusual.

Note: "The pine and cypress know the cold in the year, and the truth is seen in adversity" means: in the harsh winter, only pine and cypress trees can stand proudly without fear of ice and snow. This is an old proverb and one of the core ideas of traditional Chinese Confucian education. In addition, the source of this sentence is a sentence of Confucius: "When the year is cold, then the pine and cypress wither after it", which is intended to express that only in the cold season can we know that the pine and cypress are the last to wither. The "cold year" here is a metaphor for troubled times or the most difficult period, and it is also the period of greatest testing for people. The "pine and cypress" is a metaphor for the gentleman, when the gentleman is at a low point or frustrated, he will not defect, will not change his ethics, and can stand the test.
