CCF Giving Day

With the theme of "Technology with Love, Public Welfare Without Boundaries", the first CCF Charity Day and Technology Charity Conference hosted by CCF brought together practitioners and experts in the field of technology philanthropy in China to discuss beneficial attempts to use computing technology to empower philanthropy. Sun Ninghui, CCF Fellow, Chairman and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, served as the chairman of the conference.

The conference will be held on May 12, 2024 at the CCF Business Headquarters in Suzhou, with 29 city branches holding sub-venues.

What is Technology for Good?

Technology public welfare is a way of public welfare action to solve social problems through technical capabilities by social professional forces. The forms of technical public welfare mainly include technical support, operation guidance, communication channel support, and professional volunteer support.

Why does CCF do technology public welfare?

Through the holding of CCF Charity Day, the application of computing technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence in social welfare projects will be fully demonstrated, and the awareness of technology public welfare will be raised in the whole society.

CCF Giving Day will inspire more enterprises and individuals to devote themselves to the field of philanthropy and use the power of technology to improve the efficiency and impact of philanthropic activities. At the same time, it can integrate the internal resources of the society to form a unified brand and synergy.
