In order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, further strengthen the construction of the rule of law at the grassroots level in rural areas, and promote the in-depth implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, on April 24, Jianshan Township held a meeting on the arrangement and deployment of village (resident) legal counsel work and a signing ceremony. The signing ceremony marks a solid step forward in promoting the construction of rule of law in Jianshan Township.
The meeting emphasized that one legal adviser for one village is the last mile to open up the people's "knowing, understanding and using the law", and is an effective measure to strengthen the construction of the rule of law at the grassroots level and do a good job in grassroots governance in the new era. All villages and legal advisers should build a vanguard fortress for party building to lead grassroots governance work, continue to explore and innovate, be a good "deputy village head for the rule of law", ensure that legal counsel work is effective, and strive to create a new pattern of social governance in Jianshan that is jointly built, co-governed and shared.
The meeting required that all villages should do a good job of communicating with the legal counsel and actively cooperate with the legal counsel to carry out their work. It is necessary to combine efforts such as popularizing the law to strengthen the foundation and make up for shortcomings, one old and one young, and mediation of contradictions and disputes, and actively carry out popular legal education activities for the vast number of villagers, strengthen the concept of the rule of law, make up for the shortcomings in the establishment of the rule of law in rural areas, provide the masses with accurate and convenient legal services, and truly solve the legal problems around the masses. Legal advisers should give full play to their professional advantages, with a high sense of responsibility and mission, do a good job of guiding work such as legal consultation, dispute mediation, and rule of law publicity and education, and resolve the people's affairs and worries with heart, force, and affection, and jointly promote the formation of a positive rule of law atmosphere in which matters are handled in accordance with the law, the law is sought when encountered, the law is used to solve problems, and conflicts are resolved by relying on the law.
