Among the more than 100 roads repaired, Midong Avenue is a road that has been in service for an extended period of time, with road potholes and network cracks, etc., and is the main road of the city with the longest repair route and a large repair surface.

According to the person in charge of the maintenance section of the Midong District Urban Administration, there are many urban roads in Midong District that have overdue service, ground subsidence, and the increase in traffic vehicles, etc., the asphalt surface layer of urban roads has been damaged, and many road sections have potholes, network cracks and other diseases, and the annual spring road repair work is essential.
In the spring of this year, the repair of main and secondary roads and lanes in Midong District is mainly concentrated in the main urban area, chemical industrial park, Midong Avenue and Wu Petrochemical, more than 100 damaged roads need to be repaired, with a repair area of about 100,000 square meters, and there are currently four construction companies involved in road repair work.
Zhou Bingfeng, a staff member of the road maintenance department of the Midong District Urban Management Bureau, said: "The road repair plan will be completed in early May, and after that, the maintenance department will increase the inspection of the road surface and make up for the areas with very little damage to ensure that the road surface is free of potholes, basically smooth, and unobstructed vehicle traffic."
