On the afternoon of April 24, Danielten Brinke, Chairman of the German Federal Association for the Export of Foreign Talent and Economic Promotion, warmly responded to Hongkou's invitation to attract investment at the "Entering Hongkou Innovation and Empowerment" German Enterprise Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference. On the same day, more than 80 representatives of Chinese and German enterprises, institutions, industry associations and chambers of commerce gathered at the Hongkou North Bund to discuss exchanges and seek common business opportunities. Deputy District Mayor Chen Shuai attended the event and delivered a speech.

Hongkou has long focused on exchanges and cooperation with Germany, and the two sides have achieved fruitful results in pragmatic cooperation in the fields of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development. Over the years, a large number of leading German enterprises have taken root in Hongkou. In July last year, Hongkou Xing, the world's hidden champion enterprise, opened the fate of the German hidden champion enterprise and Hongkou District. In March this year, the first representative office of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade in China was also established in Hongkou.
The two sides exchanged gifts
At the event, Chen Shuai and Danielten Brinke exchanged gifts symbolizing their friendship. Chen Shuai presented Danielten Brinke with a table flag printed with the characteristic buildings of Hongkou North Bund, and warmly welcomed German companies to join hands with Hongkou North Bund to share development opportunities. Danielten Brinke said that he hoped to build a bridge of communication between Chinese and German enterprises through this event and create a good atmosphere for the development of Sino-German economic and trade relations.

Representatives from Bosch Semiconductor, Aminova Biologics, Sinokula Medical, FFT Manufacturing Engineering, Abacus Global Trade Group, Doris Home Living, LA Cosmetics Co., Ltd. and other German companies successively exchanged and shared.

According to reports, the German companies participating in the event are distributed in semiconductors, biopharmaceuticals, manufacturing engineering, trade and other industries, many of which are family-owned hidden champion enterprises that have been inherited for many years, and the longest has been established for more than 200 years.

At the scene, the representatives of German enterprises had face-to-face exchanges with Senshi Haiya, Qifuyun, Bafu Technology, Chairui Automobile and other enterprises, and the atmosphere was very warm.
In recent years, Hongkou has been committed to accelerating the shaping of new advantages in the development of an open economy, and comprehensively improving the soft power of the business environment, public services, cultural exchanges, etc., with nearly 2,000 foreign-funded enterprises in the region currently coming from 75 countries and regions, and 84 high-level headquarters of various types in the region. In the future, Hongkou will continue to give full play to the channel resources of domestic and foreign promotion institutions and global investment partners, diversify the regional international image and foreign investment environment, lay a solid foundation for the development of a higher-level headquarters economy, gather global resources, and strive to build the North Bund into an important showcase for Chinese-style modernization.
