Since March, the county landscaping center has seized the golden season of spring landscaping, and has taken multiple measures to comprehensively carry out greening construction and maintenance work, so as to enhance the "appearance" of urban greening with "embroidery kung fu", and make every effort to create a clean and beautiful urban green environment.
Adhere to the principle of "thinning, shaping, and pesticide", and in strict accordance with the technical specifications for seedling pruning, comprehensively prune street trees and flowering shrubs to ensure that the trees are beautiful. Through plastic pruning, the reasonable distribution of tree nutrients is further adjusted, and the ventilation and light transmission conditions inside the canopy are improved, so that the seedlings can grow robustly.
As the temperature continues to rise, garden plants are about to enter the period of high incidence of diseases and pests such as aphids, scale insects, powdery mildew, boxwood, and wild borer. In accordance with the principle of "prevention first, comprehensive control", arrange the deployment in advance, seize the key opportunity of spring plant growth, effectively carry out targeted prevention and control, strangle pests and diseases in the bud, and ensure the ecological safety of landscaping seedlings.
Since the beginning of spring, the garden center has organized personnel to carry out comprehensive replanting work on four roads, including Jiefang Road, Tangxi Avenue, Zhongyuan Avenue and Xiping Avenue. Up to now, a total of about 6,000 square meters of hedgerows have been replanted, and about 300 street trees have been replanted.
More than 20,000 trees were planted in the green belt on both sides of the western section of Xiping Avenue to improve the landscape effect of the local area by increasing the planting of clusters of moons, laying a solid foundation for improving the landscape effect of the road.
