In order to comprehensively improve the management level of the school's earthquake emergency avoidance and evacuation drills, strengthen the safety awareness of teachers and students and the ability of earthquake emergency evacuation, on April 25, Luoerling Town Central School carried out an earthquake emergency escape drill.
In this exercise, two signals were played, the first time indicated that an earthquake had occurred and required local shelter, and the second time indicated that the earthquake gap had arrived, requiring all classes to evacuate safely and orderly. At 9:30 a.m., a rapid and piercing alarm suddenly sounded, and the earthquake evacuation drill officially began. The teachers immediately arrived at the designated posts, and the class teachers and classroom teachers organized the students to hide in the corners of the walls and desks, holding their heads or carrying school bags.
After the second alarm sounded, the teachers of each class immediately organized the students to evacuate the classroom quickly and orderly, only to see the students holding their heads with their hands and sticking to the wall, and quickly evacuated along the stairs to the center of the playground. Under the orderly organization of the leading group of the emergency evacuation drill, the teachers and students of the school gathered in the designated area at a speed of one minute and 16 seconds. The whole exercise was tense and orderly, and it was a complete success.
Zhu Wenjun, deputy commander-in-chief of the drill, summarized the event, emphasized the necessity and importance of the earthquake emergency drill, and asked all teachers and students to further establish the idea of "safety first, prevention first" to strictly prevent campus emergencies.
