Two men in Xichang, Sichuan, were detained for directing and acting in a live broadcast of "beating and slashing each other".
The police handling the case told reporters that in the early morning of April 15, Yu and Luo saw the proprietress of the stall doing a live broadcast. Subsequently, for the sake of blog traffic, Luo also opened a platform for live broadcast. In the live video screen, Yu claimed to be from Xichang and had a verbal conflict with Luo.

According to the police, after receiving reports from netizens, the police of the Xicheng Police Station of the Xichang Public Security Bureau took immediate action and arrested the two men. Upon inquiry, Yu and Luo confessed that in order to gain traffic, they purchased the knives involved in the case in advance and conducted a premeditated live broadcast "appointment".

The reporter learned from the interview that in the live broadcast room of the two, there were up to 100 people online at the same time, and the live broadcast received 67,000 likes, which aroused widespread attention from netizens and seriously disrupted the network order. At present, the live broadcast account has been banned, and the Xichang Municipal Public Security Bureau has imposed administrative detention on the two in accordance with the law.
According to the people's police, Article 32 of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Punishments for Public Security" stipulates that anyone who illegally carries firearms, ammunition, crossbows, daggers, and other controlled instruments prescribed by the state shall be detained for up to five days and shall also be fined; and if the circumstances are relatively minor, he shall be given a warning or a fine of not more than 200 yuan. Those who illegally carry firearms, ammunition, crossbows, daggers, and other controlled instruments prescribed by the state into public places or public transportation are to be detained for between 5 and 10 days and fined concurrently.
