At the event, experts worked closely with farmers to carry out a series of sheep health testing and technical guidance. The epidemic prevention personnel wearing professional protective clothing strictly followed the operating procedures to draw blood and sample the sheep. They carefully collected and labeled blood to ensure that every link was accurate, avoiding the risk of cross-infection, and carefully labeled blood samples to ensure the timeliness and traceability of samples.
In addition, the experts also explained the knowledge of animal disease prevention and control to the farmers in detail, improved the farmers' awareness of protection, and helped them better grasp the methods of scientific breeding and management. It is understood that there are more than 2,500 sheep in Pingbao Village, distributed in 6 natural tuns. More than 600 blood samples were collected during the event, which will be sent to the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences for testing.
