On April 24, Chen Wenhua, former vice chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, former chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, and former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, came to our county for inspection and study. As the affectionate melody of "Offering Flowers" sounded, the armed police soldiers escorted the flower basket slowly to the white marble statue of Comrade Zhu De and gently placed it in front of the statue of Comrade Zhu De. Chen Wenhua stepped forward slowly, carefully arranged the red ribbons on the flower basket, and then everyone bowed to the white marble statue of Comrade Zhu De three times to express their high respect and deep nostalgia for the great revolutionaries of a generation.
Subsequently, Chen Wenhua and his entourage visited the memorial hall of Comrade Zhu De's former residence, the former residence of Comrade Zhu De and the birthplace of Zhu De. During the visit, everyone listened carefully to the explanations of the commentators, and through the physical objects, pictures and videos, they profoundly understood the great achievements of Comrade Zhu De in growing from the son of an ordinary tenant farmer to a staunch Marxist, from the founder of the People's Liberation Army to the commander-in-chief of the Red Army, from the founding father to the pioneer of the socialist cause, and from this they realized the noble demeanor of Comrade Zhu De's unremitting struggle and dedication to the cause of the party and the people.
During the visit, Chen Wenhua highly praised Comrade Zhu De's revolutionary spirit, and stressed that Comrade Zhu De's life was a life of revolution and struggle, and his lofty demeanor and revolutionary spirit were our precious spiritual wealth, and we should inherit and carry forward Comrade Zhu De's revolutionary spirit and contribute our strength to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
