In order to further promote the implementation of the special action to concentrate on the rectification of stubborn and chronic diseases in anti-drug problems and continuously expand the coverage of rural drug prevention publicity and education, on the morning of April 25, Wu Yong, deputy director of the Municipal Narcotics Control Commission, first deputy director of the Municipal Narcotics Control Office, and deputy director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, led a team to carry out the "Seven Advances" activity of anti-drug propaganda in Ganyan Tujia Township, Cili County, taking the opportunity of the "three to the countryside" of culture, science and technology and health in Zhangjiajie City in 2024.
At the event site, a pot of poppy original plant simulation potted plants attracted the attention of the masses. Through the simulated potted plant display, the anti-drug police popularized the characteristics, growth cycle, and laws and regulations related to illegal planting of the original opium poppy plant to the masses, so that the masses could more vividly understand the original drug plant, and further improve their enthusiasm and initiative to participate in the ban on planting and eradicating drugs.
At the same time, the people's police distributed anti-narcotics leaflets to the masses, introduced the types of drugs, and explained the dangers of new drugs such as "etomidate," "laughing gas," and "smart drugs" by explaining the law with cases; patiently answered all kinds of questions raised by the masses about narcotics at the scene, so that the masses could understand the importance of narcotics in the process of enjoying a cultural feast, deeply and imperceptibly implanted anti-narcotics knowledge in the hearts of the masses, and effectively enhanced their awareness and ability to stay away from and reject narcotics.
More than 500 copies of anti-drug publicity materials were distributed in this activity, and more than 1,000 people were educated. The rich content of the "three rural activities" has brought anti-drug knowledge into thousands of households, improved the ability of the masses to consciously resist the infringement, built a solid anti-drug defense line at the grassroots level, and contributed to the anti-drug force of rural revitalization.
