In the past few days, many places in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province have been hit by heavy rainfall for several days, Jiangwan Town has suffered serious floods and mudslide disasters in many places, some deep mountainous areas have lost contact with the outside world due to the interruption of road communications, and the road leading to Jiangwan Town in the urban area has also been completely interrupted, especially Jiangwan Village, Jiangwan Town, where the disaster is the most serious. In order to ensure the basic living and medical needs of the trapped people, on April 23, the Shaoguan Garrison Detachment of the Guangdong Mobile Team moved to the trapped areas to carry out the delivery of relief materials and personnel rescue.
In order to ensure the safety and orderliness of the entire operation, the garrison detachment actively strengthened consultation, research and judgment with the emergency, aviation, meteorological and other departments, analyzed and discussed the on-site investigation, plan formulation, transfer mode, motor transportation and other links, and selected the best plan for safety and efficiency. In view of the fact that the risk coefficient of helicopter transportation is high and the commanders and fighters lack experience in aviation rescue, the garrison detachment requires all commanders and fighters participating in the operation to abide by the safety regulations, and invites experts from the crew of China Southern Airlines to conduct on-site flight safety and material hoisting training for the commanders and fighters to ensure that the operation process is safe and orderly, and all links are smoothly connected.
In order to effectively respond to the danger and ensure the basic living and medical needs of the trapped people, the garrison detachment fully engaged in the air delivery and rescue mission. Before the crew moved in, the material support team of the garrison detachment quickly registered and installed all kinds of emergency supplies mobilized by the unit, and adopted the methods of air delivery and landing distribution to ensure that all kinds of emergency supplies could be delivered to the trapped people as soon as possible.
At 10:20 a.m. on the 23rd, as the weather cleared and the conditions for air transportation were ripe, three transport helicopters loaded with emergency supplies took off one after another to carry out air delivery to the affected areas and send emergency supplies to the lost villages and towns. The airdrop team that carried out the landing and distribution mission will set off with the crew and land to the trapped villages together with the airdrop materials to ensure that all the materials arrive in time and organize the transfer of the injured people, and transfer the wounded, sick and trapped people when the helicopter returns.
As of 16:00 on the 24th, all commanders and fighters had transported a total of 45 tons of materials, transferred 15 wounded, and trapped 376 people. In the next step, the garrison detachment will actively cooperate with the local government to carry out material delivery and rescue tasks, and continue to do a good job in ensuring the delivery of materials in the disaster area.
