April is reading day. On April 23, in order to promote national reading activities, spread the concept of reading, and stimulate enthusiasm for reading, on the occasion of the 29th World Book Day, the launching ceremony of the 2024 "Scholarly Qinhuai" Reading Month with the theme of "Walking on the Shore of Crescent Lake and Tasting the Fragrance of Books in Qinhuai" was held on the water stage of Crescent Lake Park.
The event was hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Qinhuai District Party Committee, the District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and the Crescent Lake Street. At the event, the organizer donated books to the community bookstore. Through poetry recitation, singing and dancing, the reading volunteers from the community showed a positive spirit and promoted the national reading activity to be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

The "BOOK Thinking" reading festival "Happy Reading" in Xinanli opened.
