On April 24, the signing ceremony of Century Space's Yangtze River Delta ABP project in Purple Mountain Science and Technology City was held in Beijing. It is reported that the project will further promote the development of Purple Mountain Science and Technology City in the field of spatial information industry, and inject new vitality into the transformation and upgrading of the regional economy.
01Work together to build a headquarters base
The Century Space Yangtze River Delta Headquarters Base project is jointly built by Purple Mountain Science and Technology City and 21st Century Space Technology Application Co., Ltd. Founded in 2001 in Beijing Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, 21st Century Space Technology Application Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, a space remote sensing big data service provider for Chinese and global customers and a leading enterprise in China's commercial aerospace, and the first commercial remote sensing satellite constellation construction and operation unit approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.
The project plans to focus on building the Yangtze River Delta Headquarters Base, setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Purple Mountain Science and Technology City, and using this as a carrier to jointly promote the construction of the "Century Space Yangtze River Delta Headquarters Base" with Purple Mountain Science and Technology City. As the core engine of regional development, ABP will realize the regional linkage of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui provinces and one city in terms of market, R&D, products and industrial layout, and create a new highland for satellite remote sensing and spatial information service industry based on the Yangtze River Delta, serving the whole country and facing the world.

02Innovation leads the construction of information services
It is understood that through infrastructure construction to promote the leapfrog development of the industry, the project will build the Yangtze River Delta satellite remote sensing "data lake", digital twin base and other spatial information infrastructure, dynamic convergence of global very high resolution remote sensing satellite data, the formation of quantifiable and realizable huge space data assets, and to create satellite big data innovation service capabilities for the government, enterprises, and the public, to provide high-quality basic service facilities for commercial aerospace technology research and industrial aggregation development.
Facing the core technology field of satellite application, Century Space will set up a joint scientific and technological innovation platform with the participation of Purple Mountain Laboratory and universities, establish a joint scientific research mechanism, promote cross-innovation research on new generation communications, network security, satellite 3D reality and other technologies, and carry out key technology research such as 6G satellite-ground integration satellite application system, so as to create a highland of innovative technology in the space information industry.
The project will also use the exhibition hall part of the Shangqinhuai International Cultural Exchange Center as the "Xingyao Jinling" science museum and research base to promote the implementation and demonstration of new formats and products such as geography real-world teaching and remote sensing cultural tourism in the region. "The establishment of the 'Xingyao Jinling' research center and research base not only provides a valuable opportunity for young people in the region to contact and learn satellite remote sensing technology, but also lays a foundation for cultivating industrial reserve talents. 03Industry agglomeration promotes the development of the whole chain
"Century Space will give full play to its advantages in satellite remote sensing big data and comprehensive spatial information application services, and work together with Purple Mountain Science and Technology City to jointly build a headquarters base in the Yangtze River Delta. The relevant person in charge of Century Space said that Century Space will rely on space infrastructure and data resources as the core to drive the gathering of the satellite remote sensing industry chain.
Driven by the breakthrough in the Yangtze River Delta satellite remote sensing application market, the project will drive the upgrading of demand for satellite manufacturing and rocket manufacturing, and attract upstream manufacturing enterprises such as China Aerospace to settle in Jiangning. At the same time, with the massive data assets and brand effect of Century Space as the starting point, it will attract downstream enterprises of satellite remote sensing applications to settle down and drive the establishment and development of the entire commercial aerospace industry chain.
