Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that more than 30,000 people had died, and today Shoigu gave a figure, saying that the total number of dead and missing in the Ukrainian army is about 500,000, which is shocking.
At the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict, the number of Ukrainian troops was about 700,000, and then it continued to increase to 1 million. If there are really 500,000 casualties, and this injury mainly refers to serious injuries, that is, there is no way to participate in the battle again, and there is no way to return to the original unit, then this number is indeed shocking. After all, as Ukraine, before the war, its military capabilities were relatively limited.
Of course, then again, how many Ukrainian soldiers have died? It is indeed a high degree of confidentiality, and Zelensky may not have actual data, because the number of dead, injured, and missing people is really difficult to count. And because the Ukrainian government is still playing a trick, that is, the missing person is not counted as a dead person, because if the missing person counts the number of deaths, there will be a large number of pensions as the Ukrainian government is also unable to afford, so many people who have died may be included in the missing population.
So is there any basis for Shoigu to give such a judgment? My personal judgment is that as Shoigu, he will also accumulate the results of each military operation against Ukraine, and there will definitely be repeated statistics in this, but it can be regarded as eight or nine inseparable, but these 500,000 words may not be the entire number of deaths, it should include the number of injured.
As Ukraine, we have to say that due to the huge contrast between its weapons and equipment and Russia's, there is a huge incomparability, so the number of dead in Ukraine is bound to be much higher than that of Russia. So how many deaths did Russia have? Some people have said before that it is not the Russian army that died 50,000 people, but Peskov did not give a positive reply.
So the number of deaths in Ukraine is really high, in fact, it is a basic fact, even the international community, even the European Union believes that the death toll in Ukraine is not a minority. But as Western countries, they don't care how many people die in Ukraine, what they care about is whether Ukraine can win, and this victory is not a victory for Ukraine, but a victory for the Western world.
