Tencent Auto reported on April 25 that the 24-year-old Range Rover Evoque L was officially launched. The new model will be available in four models, with prices ranging from CNY 392,800 to CNY 475,800. The '24 Range Rover Evoque L has been tweaked to offer two petrol variants, one plug-in hybrid and one limited edition variant. Among them, the newly added "Ningguang Limited Edition" is a limited model for the Chinese market. As the youngest SUV in the Range Rover family, the exterior styling is also inherited from the Range Rover's design, and the focus of this upgrade is on the adjustment of the interior, while the technology has also been significantly upgraded.

The '24 Range Rover Evoque L gets the latest family design style, with a larger Range Rover front grille, and the headlights will be equipped with the latest matrix Pixel LED light source, with a new lower bumper shape, and the overall style is quite small Range Rover Sport. The wheels are blackened with 20-inch 10-spoke aluminium alloy, and the Limited Edition also adds bright dark grey contrasting wheels.

The sides of the car are outlined with a very stiff waistline that echoes the hidden door handles, while a two-tone body design is also used to visually create the effect of a floating roof, and a new "Varese Blue" color scheme has been added. The rear of the car is mainly a change in the shape of the new taillights, which echoes the headlights as a whole, and the lower surround adopts a hidden exhaust design, and enhances the sporty feeling through imitation exhaust decoration and diffuser design.

It is worth mentioning that the new "Ningguang Limited Edition" model also brings a new color scheme, the body uses Lantau copper body + Charente gray roof matching, the body details also use new bright Atlas trim and word mark, and is equipped with 20-inch 10-spoke bright dark gray contrasting diamond-cut aluminum alloy wheels inherited from Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar, showing full personality characteristics.

Interior and equipment upgrades are the centerpiece of the '24 Range Rover Evoque L. Specifically, the new car still continues the unique British style luxury, and adds a new "thin cloud" interior theme and a variety of central control trim color options, while the details are also decorated with a new diamond check pattern and punch pattern. The center console also changed the old dual 10.2-inch center console screen to an 11.4-inch floating curved screen, and also built a fully upgraded InControl OS 2.0 infotainment system, and is equipped with an 8155P chip, which can link to third-party applications such as WeChat, Tencent Companion, and NetEase Cloud Music.

The new car also inherits the aircraft-shaped leather shift knob design of the Range Rover, and is fitted with a dual-colour Windsor leather steering wheel, with metallic chrome accents on the details. The whole system is also equipped with wireless charging for mobile phones in the front row, ACC adaptive cruise control, and four 45W Type-C fast charging ports as standard. The interior of the "Ningguang Limited Edition" model adopts a new combination of garnet red + sandalwood black, and is also equipped with Windsor perforated leather seats, supplemented by a new diamond pattern + double stitching design to decorate, which better shows the sense of luxury and dignity as a whole.

In terms of seating, the '24 Range Rover Evoque L incorporates a range of design details specifically designed for the Chinese market. The second-row seating space reaches 1015mm, and the seats also have an electric backrest angle adjustment that can be tilted forward by 5 degrees and recline by 7 degrees, and with the flying wing headrest and soft pillows, it can provide multi-angle support.

In terms of power, the 24-year Range Rover Evoque L follows the power combination of the current model, and the fuel version is still equipped with a 2.0T+48V mild hybrid system, matched with a 9-speed automatic manual transmission, and is also equipped with a four-wheel drive system. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T three-cylinder engine + motor, with a combined power of 227kW.
