In order to carry forward the spirit of patriotism, strengthen the education of ideals and beliefs, cultivate patriotic feelings, actively respond to the patriotic reading and education activities of young people, and inspire young students to strive to become qualified builders of socialism and reliable successors, on the afternoon of April 24, Linquan County No. 6 Middle School held a speech contest of "Striving for a New Journey and Being a Good Successor" in the conference room.
A total of 48 students participated in the speech competition, covering grades 7, 8 and 9. After drawing lots, competing on the same stage, and scoring by the judges, Wang Zifan of Class 8 (3) won the first prize, Liu Yuqi of Class 8 (2), Yu Mo of Class 8 (1), and Li Yuanjie of Class 8 (3) won the second prize, and Wang Chenchen of Class 7 (10), Han Xinrui of Class 7 (10) and Li Jiayue of Class 7 (9) won the third prize.
In this speech competition, the contestants were full of energy and enthusiasm. They closely followed the theme, told the red story and the deeds of advanced people in sincere and vivid language, talked freely about their ideals and ambitions, expressed the loyalty of contemporary young people to the party, their love for the country and their vision for the future, and showed the spiritual outlook of the successors in the new era.
