On April 23, on the occasion of the 27th World Book Day, the Sanxiaorenhe Road Campus of Chengguan in Mengcheng County went to the Mengcheng County Library to participate in the county's "Reading Beauty, Scholarly Mengcheng" 2024 "4.23 World Book Day" and the launching ceremony of the National Reading Month in Mengcheng City.
At the launching ceremony, the Renhe Road Campus presented a scene that combines classic recitation with sports. While exercising the body, the "Thousand Character Text" Chinese culture exercise inherits the traditional Chinese culture and enables the healthy development of the students' body and mind. With the accompaniment of the guzheng teacher, the students recited Zhuangzi's "Leisurely Travel", "There is a fish in the north of the underworld, and its name is Kun." The Kun is so big that I don't know how many thousands of miles it is. "More than 2,000 years ago, Zhuangzi's philosophical thoughts reverberated around today's first-class national library, Mengcheng Library, where the ancient traditional Chinese culture has been revitalized. "If the youth is independent, the country will be independent. If the youth is free, the country will be free. The progress of the youth will lead to the progress of the country". The students affectionately recited "Juvenile China Says", showing the spiritual outlook of children in the new era and pushing the launching ceremony to a climax.
"I propose: reading starts with me, from today, from now. Let's take action to cultivate good reading habits, read more, read good books, and read well. Insist on reading for 1 hour a day and make reading a habit. Inherit the good reading family style and create a good reading atmosphere. The members of the Voice of Books Publicity Group of Renhe Road Campus gave a vivid lecture to the audience on the national reading activity. The children's immature voices and rich reading experience amazed the audience. Everyone said that they wanted to learn from these little "book angels", stimulate their love for reading, and immerse themselves in the world of books with their children.
