Chengdu Sichuan Opera Research Institute's "Sichuan Opera Show - Legendary Changing Face" is the first large-scale cultural and tourism integration repertoire in the country that takes the essence of Sichuan Opera culture as the soul, skillfully integrates acrobatics, dance, puppet show and other multiple art forms, and presents the thousand-year-old Chengdu's humanistic style and market life. On the basis of inheriting the traditional singing, reading, doing, beating and changing faces, spitting fire, rolling lamps and other unique skills of Sichuan Opera, the play boldly innovates the way of stage expression, uses contemporary light and shadow technology, expands the artistic tension of Sichuan Opera, and enhances the impact and shock of the performance in multiple visions and dimensions. The 70-minute performance tells a touching story that takes place at the site of the "Sanqinghui" in Chengdu, the birthplace of Sichuan opera (where the current "Jinjiang Theater" is located).
