Activities unrelated to education and teaching will be rectified in a centralized manner
The reporter learned from the Ministry of Education on April 24 that in order to effectively reduce the non-education and teaching burden of primary and secondary school teachers, the secretary group of the Central Education Work Leading Group recently issued a notice to carry out special rectification work to standardize social affairs into the campus to reduce the burden on primary and secondary school teachers.
The circular puts forward four main tasks: First, systematically find out the situation of social affairs entering campuses in recent years, formulate admission standards, and strengthen the rectification of problems; second, establish a system for approving and reporting social affairs entering campuses, strictly control the total amount of social affairs entering campuses at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, establish a white list, and announce them to the public; third, examine and examine specific plans for bringing social affairs to campuses, and strictly control the scope and duration of activities; and fourth, normalize and standardize the work of bringing social affairs to campuses.
The circular requires all localities to take the standardization of social affairs into the campus as an important task for the education system to rectify formalism and reduce the burden on the grassroots level, and to test the effectiveness of the special rectification with the sense of gain of teachers and students.
