In the indigo processing factory in Xiaowan Village, dryers are placed in the spacious workshop, and bags of made indigo medicinal materials are piled up into a hill.
"The root of the plate is divided into the root of the south plate and the root of the north plate. Indigo is the root of Nanban blue, which has a long history of cultivation in Houchang Town, and is an authentic Chinese medicinal material and natural dye. In the past, the villagers mainly produced in small workshops, and the production capacity and added value of products were relatively low. In Xiang Zhefei's narration, the past and present life of the "blue business" of Monkey Town are clearly displayed.
"Later, after market research, we found that the medicinal value of indigo was more favored by the market, so we chose the road of industrialization of indigo medicinal materials, and now we have built a complete industrial chain. Our village mainly prepares dried Chinese herbal medicines, Datianba Village makes indigo ointment, and many villages grow indigo. Xiang Zhefei said.
Feeding, shredding, and the shredded materials are transferred to the drying cavity by the automatic conveyor chain, dried by constant temperature circulation, and packed after discharge. Next to the dryer, Xiang Zhefei introduced the production process to reporters. "Last year, we invested 3.55 million yuan in the construction of the plant and the purchase of equipment. This automated, energy-efficient production line can dry 20 tons of indigo per day. The finished medicinal materials are mainly sold to Guangdong, Guangxi and other places. ”
Due to the high throughput of the production line, the local indigo raw materials are not even enough. Therefore, the processing plant purchased indigo from other places, and at the same time mobilized the people in the village to open up the land and expand the planting area.
"Indigo can be harvested for three years at a time, and the cost per mu in the first year is about 3,200 yuan, and it only costs 1,000 yuan per mu in the second two years. The yield per mu is about 5,000 catties, and the high can reach 8,000 to 10,000 catties. At present, the market price of fresh blue indigo is between 1 yuan and 1.2 yuan. Each mu of indigo can have a net income of three or four thousand yuan. Xiang Zhefei calculated this account, and the people also knew it. Soon, the cultivation of indigo in the monkey farm was everywhere.
It is understood that since last year, Houchang Town has expanded the planting scale of the indigo industry by demonstration planting of town-level platform companies and decentralized planting by farmers, and the planting area of indigo in the town has reached 5,000 acres.
In the blue indigo paste processing base in Datianba Village, 30 pools are neatly arranged, and there are still traces of blue indigo paste dyeing around.
"After the harvested fresh indigo is transported to the processing plant, it is soaked in a pond for a certain period of time, and then an appropriate amount of lime water is added to stir and modulate, and finally processed into blue indigo paste. Li Zhongxiang, the first secretary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China in Datianba Village, said that last year, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China invested 3 million yuan for the construction of greenhouses, storage rooms and sewage treatment facilities. This year, an additional investment of more than 170 yuan has been invested to purchase automation equipment such as presses, crushers, balers and other automation equipment for the improvement of quality and efficiency of the industry. After equipment upgrades, the production capacity of the base has increased from 1.2 million catties last year to 2.5 million catties.
"Blue indigo paste in the province is mainly sold to Huishui, Wangmo, Dushan, Xingyi, etc., outside the province in Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places, last year's output value reached 2 million yuan. It is expected to double this year. Li Zhongxiang introduced that in addition to considerable sales, this year's blue indigo paste industry is expected to drive more than 500 jobs, and pay wages of about 650,000 yuan.
The prosperity of the "blue business" is inseparable from the enthusiasm of Houchang Town and various villages to unite and start a business together, and it is also inseparable from the real help of Aviation Industry Corporation of China.
